In the event of computer issues, most work can be performed remotely by our technicians, eliminating the need to physically bring your unit in for routine maintenance or assistance.
Remote data destruction in the case of loss or theft
If a No Panic Computing notebook is lost or stolen, the security of its data is protected by both data encryption and whenever possible, lost data destruction.
When a No Panic Computing laptop is reported lost or stolen, the technicians in the No Panic Computing control center can command the computer to execute an appropriate data elimination when next connected to the Internet. If a complete data destruction is enacted, data is overwritten and deleted in accordance with the DoD 5220-22M standard of deleting data as specified in the US National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual. This approach ensures that no data is left in an accessible format for unauthorized eyes.

The No Panic Computing
Professionally Managed Notebook |
If the No Panic Computing notebook detects behaviors that are inconsistent with authorized use (such as multiple failed login attempts), a pre-set trigger may be activated so that data is automatically eliminated and the No Panic Computing laptop disabled. This comprehensive, multi-layered system secures data - even when the PC is offline. Of course, No Panic Computing users are not distrupted by data elimination because a complete secure backup of their information is stored on-line and is available via any web browser.
