Set up, customized and optimized
The professionals at No Panic Computing do a customized set-up and enhancement of your computer. We maximize the computer’s performance, customize it to your needs, remove all unnecessary clutter, install critical updates, install and configure the operating system, the anti-virus/anti-spyware software, the firewall, the backup software and Microsoft Office. We configure the encryption, set up your user profile with a temporary password and perform your first on-line backup. The computer is set-up properly and when you receive your No Panic Computing notebook you are ready to start working immediately – all you have to do is open the lid and turn it on saving you hours of work.
Once you receive your No Panic Computing notebook, we walk you through setting up your permanent password, setting up the fingerprint reader, connecting your peripherals and your internet. If you need us to, we will help you load your other 3rd party applications. We will also show you how to access your files on-line from any computer. For an additional fee(s), we will also migrate the files from your old computer over to your new one – My Documents, Outlook files, user preferences, applications, and profile.
Remote management
After you are set-up, we monitor the proper functioning of the security of your computer. We watch your anti-virus/anti-spyware software for intrusions and to make sure that it is running and up-to-date. We watch the status and proper functioning of your encryption. We make sure that your computer is backing up online properly and regularly. We watch for suspicious behavior on your computer that would be inconsistent with authorized use (for example: multiple failed password attempts).
