Employment : Senior Sales Account Manager

We currently have an immediate job opening for a Senior Sales Account Manager. This exciting opportunity will be responsible for creating sales opportunities, and selling to a targeted professional market by creating awareness and interest in the small-to-medium business sector. This will be done by also establishing relationships with potential channel and business partners. Through consultative sales and individual needs assessment, your goal will be to focus on increasing sales and developing new accounts. You will also be responsible for:
- Maintaining strong customer relationships, proactive account management including ongoing customer post-sales account development
- Generating opportunities through relationship building and direct sales
- In coordination with the product marketing team, creating sales/marketing development strategies to penetrate the SMB and SOHO markets. This will include establishing relationships with professional associations, strategic selling business partners and VAR�s to promote product lines
- Delivering valuable client product and promotion information about NPC product and services using a consultative sales approach
- Evaluating current trends, competitive activity, economic factors and changes in the market segments you manage and translate that knowledge into definitive and actionable plans and forecasts to build profitable growth
- Developing, training and facilitating execution of a selling strategy in line with corporate and financial strategic business plans, which will deliver expected volume and profit returns for the market segments and channels for which you are responsible
- Act as primary liaison to management for key initiatives/strategies and pro-actively inform them on significant changes to and/or performance against strategy for the market segments and channels for which you are responsible
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key business agents, sales channel partners and industry contacts to support growth of the NPC brand in a way that positively promotes the companies� reputation and aligns with corporate strategies. This will include keeping regular contact with major National Accounts, business partners and reseller organizations to maximize/leverage available sales opportunities
- Establishing, monitoring and direct cross-functional business processes to ensure maximization of information that would be used to establish/change corporate strategies business forecasting and tactics
- Creating, identifying and elevating new or existing business/channel threats and opportunities
- Keeping management informed of ongoing sales activities through new business acquisition reports
- Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets
- Penetrating and developing new vertical markets
THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR YOU IF:
- You are a deal closer and can address customer concerns and will use customer feedback for a consultative approach
- You have proven experience selling technology products and services to the SMB market
- You know how to grow sales and will be able to identify new sources of business for us
- You can work independently with channel partners and customers to develop unique sales and marketing programs from the ground up to drive incremental sales within accounts
- You have experience in competitive analysis, which will help you achieve growth and market share goals
- You are able to develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics
- You are an outstanding written and oral communicator and enjoy one-on-one repartee and group presentations alike
- You are self-motivated, results driven and maintain outstanding composure in the face of extraordinary challenge
A post secondary degree/diploma or business experience equivalent is required, in addition to over 5 years of industry specific experience. Become part of a dynamic team that is setting the standards for an industry.
