Charlie A. Miller has been a loyal customer of Apple all his life with four desktops, one laptop and three iPhones and yet, he has  had nothing short of a complex relationship with Apple. Unlike many customers who simply buy, use and enjoy their product, Charlie makes it his mission to discover the security flaws that Apple neglects to see. “In March, for instance, the 36-year-old security researcher publicized his discovery of 20 security vulnerabilities in Apple's software.” Over the years skeptics have continued to doubt his claims, "When I first began saying that Macs were less secure than Windows, everyone thought I was an idiot," says Miller, "So I had to prove it again and again and again." As for Apple, they have learned to accept the driven Mac-hacker and Miller has come to respect Apple. In doing so, he willingly provides Apple with weeks of notice before he publicly announces any of the bugs or vulnerabilities that he discovers.
