No Panic Computing Brings Course on Smart Computing
to RIBO Accredited Independent Financial Brokers Workshop
Covers the need and understanding of smart, secure computing

Toronto, Ontario – November 3, 2009 – The Independent Financial Brokers of Canada (IFB) has confirmed that one (1) Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) accredited continuing education credit has been awarded to a course presented by Larry Keating, president and CEO of No Panic Computing. The course, entitled "Warning! Are You Putting Your Time and Business at Risk? Smart Computing for the Financial Professional" will be held at the 2009 Toronto Fall Summit at the Toronto Congress Center on November 3-4, 2009.
“We are pleased that the IFB is recognizing our course with a RIBO accredited continuing education credit, as we believe that our financial professionals should be armed with the most up-to-date knowledge on smart computing,” said Keating. “With all the private customer information that financial professionals store on their computers, it is important that they are aware of how to protect that information not only for the sake of their customers, but also their business.”
Mr. Keating has served as the former founding chairman of the Ministers’ Technology Advisory Group for the Province of Ontario, was a former member of the Chair’s Advisory Council on e-Government for the Province of Ontario and currently serves as a technical advisor to the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario for the Aboriginal Computer Literacy Program.
