Certified General Accountants of Ontario Adopt Safe Computing Course

Qualifies against CGA professional development requirements

Toronto, Ontario – August 27, 2010 – Larry Keating, president and CEO of No Panic Computing® will present “Safe Computing for the Certified General Accountant” to the several local chapters of the Certified General Accountants (CGA) of Ontario.  Attendance at the course qualifies against the CGA Professional Development (PD) requirements.

As a provincial affiliate of CGA Canada, Certified General Accountants of Ontario (CGA Ontario) is a self-governing body that grants the exclusive rights to the CGA designation and controls the professional standards, conduct and discipline of its 20,000 certified general accountants (CGAs) and 8,000 students in the CGA program of professional studies in the province of Ontario.


The course, tailored to certified general accountants, covers the need and understanding of secure data backup, the internet, anti-malware software, passwords, biometrics, encryption and other elements of secure computing.
