No Panic Computing Names Harry deHaas Vice President, Sales
Dynamic sales professional to take leadership role
Toronto, Ontario – May 5, 2010 – No Panic Computing® (NPC) today announced the appointment of Harry deHaas as vice president, sales. deHaas, an 18-year sales veteran, will report directly to Larry Keating, president and chief executive officer, and will be responsible for all aspects of sales including revenue generation, sales strategy, customer relationship management and the development and leadership of the NPC sales organization. In his role at NPC deHaas is tasked with building a channel network and a results driven direct sales force. His goal is to take No Panic Computing managed mobile computing solutions into professional market segments worldwide.
“Harry brings a wealth of sales experience that applies directly to the extraordinary opportunities in our breakthrough NaaS™ (Notebooks-as-a-Service™) solution” said Larry Keating. “This knowledge and experience will enable him to further strengthen NPC’s foundations and help accelerate our growth and market penetration.”
deHaas began his sales career in 1992 at The Campbell Soup Company. He subsequently worked at Call-Net Enterprises (later acquired by Sprint) and Fonorola. In 1997, deHaas became director of sales at Drums – a Toronto-based software company which was later acquired by Boston-based Channelwave Software.
In 1999 he formed The deHaas Group Inc. - a sales organization catering to the media industry. Prior to his current role at NPC, deHaas served as senior strategic sales consultant at California-based Quest Software, a worldwide leader in application management, database management, Windows management, and virtualization management where he called on leading banks and financial services organizations.
deHaas plans to structure the NPC sales organization to further penetrate small business professional markets such as lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, insurance agents and other professionals who operate on their own or in small companies and store important business information that needs to be protected and properly managed on notebook computers.
